Willie Nelson might not be waiting as long as initially thought to get back on the road again. The 80-year-old country legend reportedly suffered a shoulder injury, which led him to postpone three concerts this week. His website also indicated that he’s cancelled his appearance this weekend at the Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Nashville. But organizers for the event announced late Thursday that Nelson and his band “have confirmed” that they will be appearing as scheduled on Saturday.

However, Nelson will not be performing in Springfield, Illinois Friday night as originally planned. He also postponed a date in Carmel, Indiana on Wednesday and in Charlotte, Michigan on Thursday. The Indiana show has been rescheduled for August 23rd, 2014. Make-good dates are expected but haven’t been announced yet for the Michigan and Illinois concerts.
