The ever-amazing and inspiring Hank Williams Jr is set to be honored with the “Patriot Award” from Operation Troop Aid. Operation Troop Aid is a nonprofit organization which supports deployed U.S. troops. The presentation is going off on December 31st when Hank headlines the New Year’s Eve “Bash on Broadway,” in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. This award is presented annually by OTA to celebrities that champion men and women serving in the Armed Forces. Williams was awarded the Eagle Trophy for all of his wonderful endeavors to support the troops, while they were deployed, at the local hospitals. He was also given the award for supporting countless military charities. He has performed at many military bases and never fails to meet millitary personnel at every appearance. He will join past Patriot Award holders like Toby Keith, Gary Sinise, Charlie Daniels, Mark Wills, KISS, Aaron Tippin, and Darryl Worley.
