This will be Ronnie Dunn’s second year in a row lending a helping hand with southern Kentucky charities. He donated his time and talent in order to raise money for a number of charities including, but not limited to, the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Kentucky, Boys & Girls Club, Caring For China’s Orphans, Chuck’s United Hope Foundation, Greensburg Shelter House, Hope Harbor, Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky Performing Arts Center, the Center for Courageous Kids and the United Way of Southern Kentucky. Brett Eldredge and the group Paramlee will be joining him on stage to bring in the bag of big bucks for these charities. On September 30th, Ronnie Dunn traveled to the area and made a very special visit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Franklin-Simpson county and Glasgow-Barren County, The Center for Courageous Kids and a local United Way program. He participated in their daily activities while getting to know each of the staff members and kids. “The most memorable thing was meeting the kids and a lot of the recipients and people that are involved,” Dunn says. “It has to mean something, it it’s not worth doing it. It’s for me as much as for anybody else.”
