It looks like Garth made the right decision to come out of retirement.   Nearly two months after announcing his 2014 world tour, thousands of Irish fans lined up through Wednesday night and into Thursday morning to buy tickets for the country singer’s first three gigs in Ireland.

In just 90 minutes, the 51-year-old Oklahoma native sold 240,000 tickets to July shows at Dublin’s Croke Park. Brooks last performed there in 1997, three years before he announced his retirement.   …read UPI
