John Anderson is set to be honored this weekend.  The country star is among this year’s inductees into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.  The Class of 2014 will receive their official welcome at an event in Nashville on Sunday.  Anderson, whose hits include “Seminole Wind” and “Swingin’,” will be added in the Songwriter/Artist category.  Other inductees include Tom Douglas and Gretchen Peters, who are being added in the Songwriter category; and Paul Craft, who’s earned induction into the Veteran Songwriter category.

Douglas has penned hits by Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert.  Peters’ credits include Martina McBride’s “Independence Day.”  Craft’s catalog includes the Bobby Bare hit “Dropkick Me, Jesus.”
