Tracy Lawrence is prepping for his annual Thanksgiving event.  The country star will host his 9th annual “Mission Possible Turkey Fry” in Nashville.  For the event Tracy — along with some celebrity friends and other volunteers — will roll into the parking lot of the Nashville Rescue Mission before sunrise to fire up their fryers and begin cooking turkeys.  Some of the birds will be served on the spot to anyone who stops by wanting a hot meal.  Many of the turkeys will be stored and used to feed people at the mission throughout the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  And Tracy says in a new Facebook post that for the first time he’s also setting aside 50 fried turkeys to give away to people who make a donation to the Mission.  Details are available at facebook.com/therealtracylawrence.  Lawrence will host this year’s “Mission Possible Turkey Fry” on November 25th.

At last year’s “Turkey Fry” Tracy and his crew cooked up 500 birds.  Since launching the event in 2006, the singer’s efforts have generated more than 40-thousand meals for those at the Nashville Rescue Mission.
