Trisha Yearwood’s advice to cooks preparing a Thanksgiving feast this Thursday — “don’t stress.”  The country star, who also has her own Food Network series, explains that even if the meal is a total disaster that doesn’t mean the holiday is ruined.

But Yearwood adds that she has a great turkey recipe in her first cookbook, “Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen.”  She explains that it’s her mom’s “no-baste” technique, and nobody believes actually works until they try it.  Trisha also admits it saved the holiday for her, because it “really took the stress out of Thanksgiving.”  The singer says instead of being up all night working and worrying about the bird — and feeling exhausted by the time her guests arrive — she can cook her turkey with confidence and get a good night’s sleep.
