Garth Brooks’ hometown is doing something special for the country superstar’s upcoming shows.  Tulsa, Oklahoma’s BOK Center has temporarily renamed a few streets near the venue in honor of the singer.  OKNews.com says Denver Avenue has become Low Places Lane, Frisco Avenue is now called Rodeo Drive, First Street is being called Shameless Boulevard, and Third Street is now Thunder Rolls Road.  BOK Center General Manger Jeff Nickler says venue officials “thought this would be good to commemorate him,” given his connections to the city.  Brooks will launch a seven-show run in Tulsa on Friday.  They’re his first performances in his hometown in 17 years.
