Johnny Cash’s 1994 birthday note to his beloved June Carter has been voted the greatest love letter of all time.  The country icon’s simple and heartfelt words to June on her 65th birthday top the list in a new poll conducted by “Daily Mail” in time for Valentine’s Day this weekend.  In his letter, Johnny wrote that June was “the greatest woman [he] ever met” and remained “the object of his desire” and “the number one Earthly reason for [his] existence.”  He wrote about how they “read each others minds” and “know what the other wants without asking.”

Johnny’s letter beat out letters from British prime minister Winston Churchill to his wife Clementine, John Keats to his love Fanny Brawne and Ernest Hemingway to Marlene Dietrich.
