Lee Ann Womack says she believes independent record stores are “so important,” so she wanted to put together a special release for this year’s Record Store Day.  She’s prepping a limited edition three-track vinyl EP for the occasion, featuring new versions of some classic songs.  The set includes Lee Ann’s covers of Roger Miller’s “Where Have All The Average People Gone,” Ralph Stanley’s “I’ve Just Seen The Rock of Ages,” and the blues standard “Trouble in Mind,” which serves as the title track.  Lee Ann’s EP will be available at participating outlets on Record Store Day, which is April 18th.
