The 50th anniversary edition of the ACM Awards is going to cost a “staggering amount of money.”  Sunday’s show will be broadcast from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  It’ll be the first award show to be televised from a football stadium.  Academy of Country Music CEO Bob Romeo told “Billboard,” there are logistical issues with the new venue.  For example, the stadium isn’t designed for theatrical shows so there’s no catwalk grid and it takes workers a half-hour to climb to the ceiling.  Plus, everything has to be shot at an angle so you don’t see the other stage as it’s darkened and set up for the next act.  The three-and-a-half-hour show will be co-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
