Dwight Yoakam is being honored for his achievements in country radio.  The singer was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame during a ceremony in Nashville on Wednesday night.  In his acceptance speech, he thanked the radio community for supporting his career and helping to make hits of songs like “Guitars, Cadillacs,” “Honky Tonk Man” and “I Sang Dixie.”  Yoakam was introduced by longtime country music journalist R.J. Curtis.
