Nashville is mourning the loss of the man behind several classics, including “Always On My Mind” and “The Letter.”  Wayne Carson passed away yesterday at the age of 72.  Carson died on July 20th after suffering from various ailments including congestive heart failure.  Carson was a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
