Naomi Judd and Wynonna Judd are reuniting onstage. The mother and daughter pair will be performing at the Venetian in Las Vegas this fall. They’re set to take the stage together for a total of nine shows starting on October 7th and ending on October 24th. Wynonna tells “People” that the concerts will be “a look back, a look present and a look forward.” Tickets go on sale starting August 28th.
The elegant room built for “Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular” was home to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill in 2012 and 2013. Diana Ross headlined at Venetian Theater this year and is set for nine shows from Nov. 4-21.
Tickets start at $59.50 (absent fees) and are on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the Venetian and (866) 641-7469.
“Over the years, people have asked me about a Judds reunion, and I have always said the door is open,” Wynonna said in this morning’s news release announcing the residency.
“When this opportunity was presented to me, I looked at it as an incredible chance to celebrate my mom. I have a new album coming out soon, and this is the perfect way to honor the roots that gave me the wings to fly.”
“This show is for the fans — the fans that I have missed every single day since leaving the stage,” Naomi said. “Every artist goes through a time in their career where they feel that it’s time to call it quits, but once it’s in your blood and you’re still able to do it, you can’t not do it.
“It will be the thrill of my life to join Wynonna on the stage again in Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World!”
