Blake Shelton is calling 2015 the best year of his life. He tells ‘Country Countdown USA,’ quote, “All the awful things that happened in my personal life this year, but the way the year ended is also the greatest year of my life.” Shelton and fellow Country music singer Miranda Lambert divorced over the summer, and Blake began seeing ‘The Voice’ co-star Gwen Stefani soon afterward.

Blake Shelton is voicing a pig in the upcoming “Angry Birds” movie. He’ll play a back-country pork chop named Earl. Shelton told “Entertainment Weekly,” “They kept saying, ‘more country!’ I felt like I was doing a voice-over for ‘Dukes of Hazzard.'” He’s also written a song for the animated film. Shelton said he had writers blocks at first. He explained, “I can write things about myself and my life. But I don’t have a whole lot of experience being shot out of a slingshot at pigs.” Shelton admits, though, that he was one of the millions of people that played the immensely popular game. He says, “I wish I had a dollar for every minute I lost playing that freaking game, you know? Well, I guess I do now.” The movie will be out in theaters on May 20th.
