Trace Adkins is being honored for his long-standing support and advocacy for America’s servicemen and women. He was given the Dwight D. Eisenhower Award last month. The annual award recognizes someone who “best reflects President Eisenhower’s beliefs and support for a strong national security and industrial base.” Adkins is no stranger to USO Tours. He told “U.S. Central Army,” he does it because, “it’s just an opportunity to say thank you, that I support what you guys are doing. It’s just as simple as that. I hope just for a minute that folks can just smile and have a good time. Maybe we give them a little taste of home.”
