Craig Morgan says fans are finding that his ninth album, “A Whole Lot More To Me,” is a little more diverse than previous projects.
Morgan returns to performing on Thursday, after taking the month of July off following the death of his son, Jerry Greer, in a boating accident at Kentucky Lake. The singer will be in Oregon for two shows, one in Astoria on Thursday and the second in McMinnville on Friday. The singer will be performing songs from his new album, and he says one of the things fans have been commenting on are the melodies, because they sound so fresh and new. He says on previous albums, he tried to stay pretty close to the middle of country music, but on this album he has recorded songs that cover the whole spectrum of the genre.
