Alan Jackson’s dad was a hardworking mechanic, so he knows what it’s like to be a working man.

Many country artists can look back to the time when they had a nine to five job. Jackson is one of them, and he remembers very well the days he was part of the labor force instead of standing on stage and singing for his fans. The singer has written many songs about the hardworking men and women who keep this country going. He says many of the fans who come to see him are in that work force, and he is always happy when he can pay tribute to them in his songs. Jackson is taking off Labor Day weekend this year, but fans can catch him in concert again in Raleigh, NC October 27th.
