Loretta Lynn is recovering from a fall. The 84-year-old country icon injured herself last week and had to cancel her appearance at her annual Labor Day show. Lynn hosts the event at her Hurricane Mills ranch along with her sister, Crystal Gayle. Lynn wasn’t able to perform. Her sister, Crystal Gayle, read a letter Lynn had written to fans that said, “I injured my chest and can’t get a deep enough breath to sing.” Lynn is recuperating at home.
Loretta Lynn is canceling several upcoming concerts as she continues to recover from a fall. A statement on Lynn’s website says her injuries weren’t serious, but she will have to have minor surgery.
