Randy Travis and his wife Mary are celebrating a milestone in his recovery from a stroke that nearly killed him. In an interview with “CNN,” Mary said they were driving home to Tennessee one day when Randy pointed at a sign and said “Nashville.” Mary said she cried tears of joy because, “I knew then that he read that sign, and he recognized the word, and then he said it. That’s a huge thing. Huge for us.” This summer will mark four-years since a virus led to heart troubles and eventually the stroke.
